Work by Emily's Wildlife Creations is in Hawaii, Alaska and as far away as South Africa.
We do custom work. If someone has taken a deer, elk, etc. send us a picture as we will paint it on a feather for them.
We also have display cases for American Flags, military medals, arrowheads, pistols, etc.
We start by putting the feathers in the freezer to kill bugs and mites. After that is done a clear acrylic is sprayed on the backs of the feathers to stiffen them up a bit so they can be painted on. Emily uses acrylic paint to create the detailed scenes, logos and and any other artwork on the feathers.
A flintnapper south of Yellville makes all our arrowheads using the ancient technique of flintknapping. He puts together the arrows following the traditional crafting methods.
We have mats and frames cut and made to our specifications, then mount the feathers, arrows, bear claws and any other additional items in the frames, putting glass over everything to protect it. The artwork should last a lifetime if kept in a controlled environment and out of direct sunlight.
The pictures you will be viewing are scans of the feathers. The actual artwork is much more impressive when viewed first hand, and may be lighter or darker than what you see here.
We offer a 100% money-back guarantee for 30 days within purchase, for any reason. If you are not happy with our artwork, for whatever reason, send it back within 30 days for a full money-back refund minus shipping charges.
Native Americans seem to really appreciate this kind of artwork. They are some of our best patrons.
